iOS 11 was found to have a security flaw that allows apps with access to camera secretly take photographs on the users and take advantage of the facial recognition tools.
Description
If apps on iOS 11 are given access to the smartphone camera, they could be doing a lot more than a user is aware of, including photographing the individual without their knowledge. Surveillance
This Insecurity was discovered by a security researcher in October 2017 investigating Apple’s iOS 11 privacy settings. According to the researcher apps with camera access are capable of taking photos and recording video of an individual while using the app, uploading photos and videos without their knowledge, or even take advantage of iOS 11’s facial recognition tools to read your expression while you’re browsing Twitter on the can.
